What happens on a Relaxing Yoga Weekend Retreat?
A retreat is when you press life’s “pause button”. It allows time for yourself, time to let go of responsibilities, time to let go of stress, to relax completely. There will be a choice of asana (postures) stretching, breathing, visualisation, meditation, laughter, walking, fun and relaxation, silence, stillness and inner peace – a balance of all that life can be.

You decide what you do with your time on these weekends.
You can join in the sessions, sleep, walk, lay in the bath, read or do absolutely nothing—anything that feels right for you. If you’ve never practiced Yoga before there may be postures that you won’t want / be able to try but that’s fine. In Yoga everyone works at their own level. There are sessions of fun and laughter to encourage release of tension, also times of calm silence to allow you to go within.

Where are your retreats held ?
Retreats are held in quiet locations across South Wales, including Lam Rim Buddhist Centre, Raglan, St Non’s Retreat Centre on the Pembrokeshire coastal path and The Tŷ Croeso Centre just 20 minutes from Cardiff

*
Lam Rim Buddhist Centre is just 50 minutes from Cardiff. It is situated in beautiful countryside just off the A40 near Raglan in between the towns of Monmouth and Abergavenny. The house, Pentwyn Manor, is a Mock Tudor style house which stands in 8½ acres of field, trees, garden, amid rolling farmland close to The Black Mountains. This delightful setting provides a peaceful atmosphere which is ideal for meditative reflection. A place to get away and relax let go of the stress and look within. Accommodation is available either in shared bedrooms or in a limited number of single rooms. Everyone is welcome. Delicious vegetarian food is provided, now served in the beautiful new dining room. Many of the vegetables are grown in the Centre's own garden. Please visit the website: http://www.lamrim.org.uk/wales

St Non’s Retreat Centre is situated on the Pembrokeshire coastal path near St David’s. It is well worth the journey. The walks along the coast are spectacular; a small beach is a 20min walk. Accommodation is twin or single rooms. The 3 twin rooms have amazing views to the front of the house. Visit the website: http://www.stnonsretreat.org.uk

The Tŷ Croeso Centre is just 20 minutes from Cardiff 10 minutes from Newport centre. It is beautifully situated in spacious grounds, bordered by woodland, rivers and hills. The name is taken from the Welsh language; "Tŷ" meaning "House" and "Croeso" meaning welcome, i.e. The "House of Welcome". It provides an ideal oasis for reflection and prayer and the opportunity to enhance and rebuild lives. The many gardens, woodland walks and walled gardens are an ideal place to let go of tension and stress and relax completely. Visit the web site: http://www.tycroesocentre.co.uk
